The short version
Every event has a QR Code, an Embed Code and a Link Button tab. Each one gives you something to share or paste, and each one can tag its visits so they show up under Campaigns in your event Analytics.
QR code
Open the event and choose QR Code. You see a code with the TimelyDo logo in the middle, the link it opens, and options for size and colour. Sizes are small (256 pixels), medium (512) and large (1024). Pick one of the colours or choose your own.
PNG and SVG download the code. Use SVG when it will be printed large, because it stays sharp at any size.
Count scans in Analytics is on by default. It adds a small source tag to the link, so visits from the code show up under Campaigns in the Traffic view of your event Analytics.
Embed code
Choose Embed Code to show the booking page inside your own website. Pick the language (the visitor's own, or one you choose), the width (full width or a fixed width) and the height, from 400 to 1600 pixels. A preview shows exactly what visitors will get.
Select Copy and paste the code where the page should appear. It is an iframe, so visitors book without leaving your site. Most website builders have a block for custom HTML where it goes.
Public, hidden or private
Open the event and select the visibility label next to its name. Public events are listed on your profile and anyone can book them. Hidden events are not listed on your profile, but anyone with the link can still book them, which suits an event you only share with certain people. Private events cannot be booked by anyone, so use it while you get an event ready.
Single use links
Choose Single use links on the event to make a link for one person. You can fill in their name and email, so they only have to pick a time, and you can set it to run out after 1 to 90 days. The link works for one booking only.
The page lists every link you made with where the person is: Not opened, Opened (they looked but have not booked), Booked, Ran out or Switched off. Select a link to see what happened step by step, when they opened it and how often, and the booking it made. Switch off a link you no longer want to work.
The name and email are kept by us and filled in for the person, so the link itself only carries a random code and no personal details. Single use links work for events that are free.
Event analytics
The Analytics tab of the event shows Bookings and Traffic for that event only. Bookings shows how many meetings were taken, completed and canceled, how far ahead people book and when. Traffic shows visitors, where they came from, the steps from opening your page to booking, and your campaigns.
Use the range selector for anything from the last 24 hours to the last 12 months. Visits from your QR code and button appear under Campaigns with their source name.
Each booking also keeps where the booker came from. Open a booking on the Bookings tab and look for Came from. The export has the same in its Source, Medium and Campaign columns.
